Meet the Ski Champoluc Family

“Where Everyone Knows Your Name”

At Ski Champoluc, we believe that a great holiday is as much about the people as it is about the place. Our small, dedicated team lives and breathes skiing, and we’re passionate about sharing the best of Champoluc with you. Here’s a chance to get to know us a little better before you arrive.

“Making every holiday an unforgettable experience.”

Simon first fell in love with Champoluc over 25 years ago, charmed by its authentic Italian village atmosphere and world-class skiing. He founded Ski Champoluc to offer something different—tailor-made holidays with a personal touch, where guests feel like friends rather than customers.

When he’s not ensuring every detail of your trip is perfect, you’ll find Simon carving down the wide, scenic slopes of Alagna or catching up with locals over an aperitif at Lo Bistrot.

Favourite part of the job: Seeing returning guests year after year, many of whom have become lifelong friends.

Founder & Director

“Every day is a ski day.”

Ryan grew up skiing in the Valle d’Aosta region. After years of racing and becoming a qualified Italian ski instructor and race trainer, he now oversees all of Ski Champoluc’s ski and boot fittings. His priority is ensuring your gear is comfortable and perfectly tuned so you can hit the slopes with confidence and style.

When he’s not helping guests in resort, Ryan’s out chasing fresh tracks of powder. And if you think you can keep up with him, Simon promises a discount!

Favourite run: First tracks in the Bettolina Bowl

Favourite part of the job: Seeing a guest’s confidence soar with the perfect equipment fit.

Kelly has lived in Champoluc for over 15 years and is the first person you’re likely to speak to when planning your trip. Her warm, welcoming approach puts everyone at ease, and she loves finding the perfect accommodation, booking private guides, and adding thoughtful touches to make your holiday extra special.

Her favourite run is Pistone early in the morning for the tranquillity. Après-ski? You’ll find her sipping a fresh Aperol Spritz at Kondor or indulging in a Japanese mandarin gin and tonic at Aethos Monterosa.

Born and raised in Champoluc, Giada is an expert in all the hidden gems of the resort. For the past two years, she has been a vital part of the team, managing ski passes, organising extra activities like cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, and arranging birthday surprises. Whatever your request, Giada will find a way to make it happen.

When not in the office, Giada skis down Belvedere or enjoys her favourite pizza at Da Martino’s.

Favourite part of the job: Adding those little touches that make a holiday unforgettable.

“Sharing the magic of the mountains, one photo and snowplough at a time.”

As the youngest member of the Ski Champoluc team, Charlie is truly a product of the mountains. Having grown up in Champoluc, she knows every slope, shortcut, and secret spot in the resort. When she’s not managing Ski Champoluc’s social media—capturing the magic of ski school, the buzz of the slopes, and behind-the-scenes moments—she spends peak weeks teaching the resort’s youngest skiers. Whether it’s helping them master their first snowplough or guiding confident little shredders down the slopes, Charlie brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Favourite place to eat: La Mandria, where the burgers are as epic as the views.

Favourite part of the job: Watching little ones light up with pride when they conquer their first slope.

“Champoluc, where family memories are made.”

Ruth first arrived in Champoluc in 1999 with Simon and their son Ryan when he was just three months old. For over 25 years, she has been a key part of the Ski Champoluc family, providing support wherever it’s needed.

Ruth treasures her weekly visits to the Relais des Glaciers spa and coffee breaks at Fior di Roccia, and when she’s skiing, her favourite spot is high above the clouds under the Sant’Anna chairlift.

Favourite part of the job: Seeing how Champoluc’s kind-hearted locals make every guest feel at home.

Samantha is the organisational heartbeat of Ski Champoluc, handling finance and accounts with precision and care. While she’s not a skier, she loves the mountain atmosphere and often takes the lifts to the top to soak up the breathtaking views. Samantha finds joy in working closely with clients, ensuring every detail is in place well before their arrival, so their holiday is nothing short of perfect.

Favourite place to eat: La Grange, for its warm hospitality and incredible food.

Favourite part of the job: Connecting with clients throughout the year and hearing their excitement build as their holiday approaches.

“Bringing the Ski Champoluc story to life.”

Jo has been part of the Ski Champoluc family for years—as a guest first, and now as the one behind spreading the word about their amazing tailor-made family ski holidays. With her background in marketing and a love for all things Champoluc, Jo works closely with Simon to make his vision shine, whether it’s through the website or helping to create the fun-loving goat that’s now a hit on Ski Champoluc’s merchandise.

When she’s in resort (as often as possible during the school holidays!), Jo loves nothing more than sharing a family dinner at Fior di Roccia, soaking up the warm atmosphere after a great day on the slopes.

Favourite part of the job: Seeing how the cheeky Ski Champoluc goat makes people smile and helping families discover what makes the resort so special.
