SKI CHAMPOLUC LUNCH VOUCHER
25 years ago, when we started working in Champoluc we realised what an added cost lunches on the mountain can be. Over these years we have developed a great relationship with many restaurants across the three valleys.
Our lunch vouchers are redeemable at these restaurants. Menus vary at our restaurants but for a voucher you get a snack lunch. Typically a pizza, plate of pasta or a large sandwich and a drink (glass of wine, small beer, coke, water etc). If you are super hungry and would like something more to eat you can select from the restaurants main menu and use your voucher as part payment towards the bill.
Restaurants can get very busy during peak times, so we advise you to call into the office and we can book tables for you on your behalf.
Every guest that travels with us gets one lunch voucher per SKIPASS day (Children & Adults included). Bear in mind that if you book half board at one of our hotels you will have a four-course meal every evening.
- Stolemberg
You will find this restaurant at the top of “Passo dei Salati”. Stolemberg is the highest mountain restaurant, at approximately 2970 meters above sea level. We call this point “top of the world” literally because you feel as if you are having lunch above the clouds. On a clear day you can see the skyscrapers of Milan. The menu changes weekly, but you will always find a good plate of pasta and fresh Knefflene (typical little gnocchi). We do however suggest an early lunch, being far away from the valley of Champoluc it can take an intermediate skier more than two hours to ski back.

- Ristorante Du Soleil
The pizza place on the slopes! Du Soleil is located at the top of the funicular train that leaves from Frachey. As you walk out of the train it is in front of you, you can’t miss it. This restaurant is one of our most used locations, especially for kids ski school as it is very child friendly. It has loads of space to sit down inside on cold snowy days and when the sun is out it has a lovely outside terrace with deck chairs and tables. It is accessible both for skiers and non-skiers. Brits love it! You will find nice pizza and pasta. With a variety of sandwiches and focaccias. Rocco and his staff are also very generous about what is included in the lunch voucher.

- Sitten
This restaurant is located halfway down one of the best runs on the mountain, the Pistone Betta slope B1. Easily accessible from the Frachey Funicular then Bettaforca chairlift. Sitten has a wonderful view down into the valley of Gressoney. They have a lovely easterly facing terrace which from February onwards gets the sun all day. It’s a simple yet lovely restaurant where you can find Bolognese pasta and nice sandwiches

- Walsertal
This restaurant is right at the end of the Moos G6 slope, the famous black run on your way back over from Alagna. It’s a new restaurant that we added to our voucher system back in 2023. Walsertal do delicious piadina’s which are an Italian wrap and guests can also read mountain books that are provided in the cozy reception area. You can enjoy one of their Grand St. Bernard beers in the bar or on the fantastic terrace which much like Sitten from February onwards gets direct sunlight all day.

- La Mandria
This restaurant is located halfway down the Pian da Sal red run C16. Reasonably accessible for an intermediate skier. It’s a small family run restaurant with a stunning terrace and impeccable service. This is one of the perfect lunch spots on the mountain. La Mandria is our most popular restaurant for our voucher menus. They have a simple and genuine kitchen which serves fresh pasta, potato röstis with Burrata cheese and above all homemade cheeseburgers. La Mandria is a must for most of our clients.

- Kondor
This restaurant is the only place in the village that uses our voucher system. It is pretty much next door to our office, underneath the Champoluc gondola. Kondor bar service is located at the bottom of the Del Bosco C1 run where they make great sandwiches, hamburgers and slices of pizza. The main restaurant which is underneath on the main road serves a wonderful Carbonara pasta, typical crespelle (crepes made with ham and local Fontina cheese with Béchamel sauce and au gratin) and many other delicious plates. Another plus is that at Kondor you can use a voucher in exchange for two beers after a long days ski.

This restaurant is located at the top of the Champoluc cable car. Tavola Calda is great for beginners as it is right next to the beginner slopes. They serve a wide range of sandwiches, soups and salads. They also have a lovely terrace.
