SIGB Ski Test in Champoluc – A Week We Loved Hosting 🎿

This year, Champoluc had the honour of hosting the SIGB Ski Test, and we honestly couldn’t have loved it more.

For us at Ski Champoluc, the week felt extra special because some of the people attending the test were our own guests. Familiar faces who came up the mountain with us, skied alongside us, and shared the full Champoluc experience. Welcoming them, supporting them, and being part of their week on snow was a real highlight of the season.

The test took place in a stunning spot under Bar du Soleil, offering incredible views and a relaxed, mountain atmosphere that Champoluc does so well. From early starts to busy test laps, we were there helping SIGB get all their gear up the mountain, making sure skis, boots, and kit were exactly where they needed to be, leaving everyone free to focus on what really mattered: skiing.

Throughout the week, an impressive range of brands were put through their paces. Skis, boots, and outerwear from Salomon, Fischer, Blizzard, Rossignol, Patagonia, Black Crows, Helly Hansen, and many more were tested across the varied terrain Champoluc has to offer. From smooth pistes to more challenging snow conditions, the resort proved to be the perfect testing ground.

What really stood out for us was the atmosphere. The mix of industry professionals, passionate skiers, and our own guests created a brilliant sense of community. There were plenty of conversations on chairlifts, gear comparisons over coffee, and well-earned drinks at Bar du Soleil at the end of the day.

We absolutely loved hosting the SIGB Ski Test in Champoluc, looking after our guests, supporting the event, and showing off just how special this corner of the Monterosa really is. Weeks like this remind us that skiing is about far more than equipment; it’s about people, shared experiences, and great days in the mountains.
