Ski Champoluc was founded over 25 years ago by Simon Brown, who fell in love with Champoluc for its authentic charm, welcoming locals, and incredible skiing. Since then, Simon and his family have built a trusted, family-run business offering tailor-made ski holidays with a personal touch.
Our team are proud to live in Champoluc year-round, giving us unparalleled local knowledge and connections to ensure your holiday is as seamless as it is special. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a group trip with friends, or your first-ever ski holiday, we’ll go above and beyond to make you feel at home.
At Ski Champoluc, we believe that a great holiday is as much about the people as it is about the place. Our small, dedicated team lives and breathes skiing, and we’re passionate about sharing the best of Champoluc with you. Here’s a chance to get to know us a little better before you arrive.
“Making every holiday an unforgettable experience.”
Simon first fell in love with Champoluc over 25 years ago, charmed by its authentic Italian village atmosphere and world-class skiing. He founded Ski Champoluc to offer something different—tailor-made holidays with a personal touch, where guests feel like friends rather than customers.
When he’s not ensuring every detail of your trip is perfect, you’ll find Simon carving down the wide, scenic slopes of Alagna or catching up with locals over an aperitif at Lo Bistrot.
Favourite part of the job: Seeing returning guests year after year, many of whom have become lifelong friends.
“From first booking to final goodbye.”
Kelly has lived in Champoluc for over 15 years and is the first person you’re likely to speak to when planning your trip. Her warm, welcoming approach puts everyone at ease, and she loves finding the perfect accommodation, booking private guides, and adding thoughtful touches to make your holiday extra special.
Her favourite run is Pistone early in the morning for the tranquillity. Après-ski? You’ll find her sipping a fresh Aperol Spritz at Kondor or indulging in a Japanese mandarin gin and tonic at Aethos Monterosa.
Favourite part of the job: Helping families plan their dream ski holidays.
“Every day is a ski day.”
Ryan grew up skiing in the Valle d’Aosta region. After years of racing and becoming a qualified Italian ski instructor and race trainer, he now oversees all of Ski Champoluc’s ski and boot fittings. His priority is ensuring your gear is comfortable and perfectly tuned so you can hit the slopes with confidence and style.
When he’s not helping guests in resort, Ryan’s out chasing fresh tracks of powder. And if you think you can keep up with him, Simon promises a discount!
Favourite run: First tracks in the Bettolina Bowl
Favourite part of the job: Seeing a guest’s confidence soar with the perfect equipment fit.
“Adonca comme t’ishtè?”
Greta has lived in Champoluc all her life and knows every hidden secret of the valley. She receives your initial booking forms and ensures everything is just how you want it to be. After working with Simon for over 10 years, she knows the ins and outs of the business and is always ready to greet you upon your arrival.
Favourite run: The gentle, sunny slopes of Frachey
Favourite place: Il Balivo for a hearty mountain lunch after a busy morning at the desk.
Favourite part of the job: Welcoming new clients in resort and making their holiday as special as possible.
“Ask me, I know.”
Born and raised in Champoluc, Giada is an expert in all the hidden gems of the resort. For the past two years, she has been a vital part of the team, managing ski passes, organising extra activities like cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, and arranging birthday surprises. Whatever your request, Giada will find a way to make it happen.
When not in the office, Giada skis down Belvedere or enjoys her favourite pizza at Da Martino’s.
Favourite part of the job: Adding those little touches that make a holiday unforgettable.
“The best things in life are the memories we create“
Cille is from Denmark but loves travelling all around the world. She has worked in many different countries over the past few years but Champoluc with its beautiful mountains and authentic vibe has brought her back, where it all started.
Favourite area: Hard to choose – Follow the sun and it will take you where you need to go but never skip a Cappuccino at Sitten. But the perfect way to end an amazing day will always be on Bruno’s terrace with a pink Prosecco.
Favourite part of the job: Making guests feel like home in Champoluc and creating beautiful memories for life.
“Champoluc, where family memories are made.”
Ruth first arrived in Champoluc in 1999 with Simon and their son Ryan when he was just three months old. For over 25 years, she has been a key part of the Ski Champoluc family, providing support wherever it’s needed.
Ruth treasures her weekly visits to the Relais des Glaciers spa and coffee breaks at Fior di Roccia, and when she’s skiing, her favourite spot is high above the clouds under the Sant’Anna chairlift.
Favourite part of the job: Seeing how Champoluc’s kind-hearted locals make every guest feel at home.
“Bringing the details together behind the scenes.”
Samantha is the organisational heartbeat of Ski Champoluc, handling finance and accounts with precision and care. While she’s not a skier, she loves the mountain atmosphere and often takes the lifts to the top to soak up the breathtaking views. Samantha finds joy in working closely with clients, ensuring every detail is in place well before their arrival, so their holiday is nothing short of perfect.
Favourite place to eat: La Grange, for its warm hospitality and incredible food.
Favourite part of the job: Connecting with clients throughout the year and hearing their excitement build as their holiday approaches.
“Bringing the Ski Champoluc story to life.”
Jo has been part of the Ski Champoluc family for years—as a guest first, and now as the one behind spreading the word about their amazing tailor-made family ski holidays. With her background in marketing and a love for all things Champoluc, Jo works closely with Simon to make his vision shine, whether it’s through the website or helping to create the fun-loving goat that’s now a hit on Ski Champoluc’s merchandise.
When she’s in resort (as often as possible during the school holidays!), Jo loves nothing more than sharing a family dinner at Fior di Roccia, soaking up the warm atmosphere after a great day on the slopes.
Favourite part of the job: Seeing how the cheeky Ski Champoluc goat makes people smile and helping families discover what makes the resort so special.
“It’s all about sharing the joy of the mountains”
Fred is a lifelong skier with roots in Chamonix. He has spent his life chasing powder, perfecting turns, and searching for the thrill of big mountain terrain. From launching off freestyle jumps to honing his technique during a season in Canada, he’s developed a deep respect for both the art and science of skiing. Now a core member of the Ski Champoluc team Fred is best known for his infectious energy and supportive approach always helping clients to unlock their full potential.
Favourite part of the job: Guiding people past their fears and watching their faces light up when everything finally clicks.
“Champoluc – My best memories”
After living in Champoluc for more than 20 years and working with Simon for the best part of 10 years, Giovanni now considers thie Val d’Ayas his home. He knows all the roads to the various airports like the back of his hand. When he’s not behind the wheel, he’s wearing his boots and helmet. His favourite slope is Bettaforca and when you don’t see him on Bettaforca, he’s eating a delicious hamburger at La Mandria.
His favourite part of his job: is ensuring that his customers have a pleasant and safe journey.
“Sharing the magic of the mountains, one photo and snowplough at a time.”
As the youngest member of the Ski Champoluc team, Charlie is truly a product of the mountains. Having grown up in Champoluc, she knows every slope, shortcut, and secret spot in the resort. When she’s not managing Ski Champoluc’s social media—capturing the magic of ski school, the buzz of the slopes, and behind-the-scenes moments—she spends peak weeks teaching the resort’s youngest skiers. Whether it’s helping them master their first snowplough or guiding confident little shredders down the slopes, Charlie brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Favourite place to eat: La Mandria, where the burgers are as epic as the views.
Favourite part of the job: Watching little ones light up with pride when they conquer their first slope.
After his induction to the Ski Champoluc team last easter, Harry is back managing in ski hire by popular demand! Whatever your equipment needs, Harry is eager to make sure everything fits tip top, so you can spend more time shredding and less time faffing!
When he’s not helping guests in resort, Harry can be found zipping around the mountain in a pair of skis… or running shoes!
Favourite part of the job: The buzz in ski hire after someone’s first time conquering the goat!

From my initial enquiry right through to the end of the holiday, the whole team has been absolutely first class. The booking experience was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. It was clear they were looking to provide us with the best package to suit our particular circumstances. At no point did I feel like I was being “sold” anything I didn’t want. From the moment we arrived at the airport we felt like we were being looked after. That continued throughout the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, and the team were always so friendly. A great mix of fun, informal, yet respectful and caring. Everyone made us feel very welcome and part of the Ski Champoluc family. The transfer from the airport was good. Whilst not exactly luxurious, it was perfectly comfortable and Giovanni was very friendly. We received a very warm welcome on arrival at Hotel La Rouja and they were happy to give us dinner at 9pm. The hotel is fabulous. Much like the Ski Champoluc team, the hotel staff were fabulous. The hotel itself is very comfortable. The spa and outdoor pool are very high standard. Definitely not a gimmick. We finished every day with a soak in the pool, a sauna and steam, and some quiet time (for the adults) in the relaxation room. The boys also enjoyed rolling around in the snow before jumping in the pool. The adults did not… The team were great at setting us up with lessons and giving us tips about where to go. The lunch vouchers were great and included the best restaurants up the hill. The area is great value. For example, in one of the restaurants a voucher gets you a pizza and a glass of wine! We were there with our two boys (13 and 9), and they have absolutely loved it. The ski area is really good, and the SC team will happily drive you along to Frachey, which provides easier access to the gentler slopes. Otherwise, it’s straight up the hill from next to the office to Crest. We have been to Champoluc before, but not with Ski Champoluc. They have given us the most amazing experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.Posted on Chiara AguzziTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ConsigliatissimoPosted on C YuenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. it was the first time we skied at Champoluc. Apart from our own flight, Ski Champoluc basically arranged for everything from airport pick-up, a very cozy hotel which offered breakfast and dinner, ski equipment to lunch vouchers on the mountain, which made the trip totally worry-free and budget fully expectable. All their staff were so super friendly, polite and helpful, always willing to answer any questions and offer advice. A couple of us were sick and they even offered to drive us to the pharmacy from the hotel, which was an incredibly caring act which shouldn’t be taken for granted. We can during Christmas and were lucky that it snowed rather heavily on the day we arrived. The mountain was therefore beautiful with powdery snow the next day, with a combination of levels. The only downside was probably be very limited green… but to some it could be a plus? The small town was quite self-sufficient with a few cafes and restaurants, shops and a small supermarket. We are immensely pleased with our trip, and my son already asked to come back again!Posted on Paul HarrisonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another (our eighth?!) holiday in Champoluc with Simon and team. As always, everything ran as smooth as clockwork and the service was exceptional. The resort remains unspoilt and uncrowded; the only change was the welcome addition of a new lift in Gressoney.Posted on Christine BarnesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another fab trip to this lovely ski town with Ski Champoluc, this time over Xmas. They are so good at making everything work, from the up-front planning through to the smallest details during the holiday. The team are so helpful and smiley. The hotel was great - Le Petit Tournalin, the slopes were in fab condition with loads of new snow and the food everywhere so good. Thank you Simon and the whole team. See you soon.
