Welcome to the FAQs page of Ski Champoluc, a family-run ski holiday company founded by Simon and Ruth Brown, who have been an integral part of the Champoluc community since 1999.
We run our own ski school from:
16 December 2025 to 06 January 2026
14 February 2026 to 21 February 2026
21 March 2026 to 11 April 2026
All other times we work with the local ski school to arrange lessons for your children.
We encourage skiing for children from 4 years.
We offer a minimum class size of 4 and a maximum of 8
Yes all lessons are taught in English.
Yes, for the main weeks we have our own British ski instructors, but also use British speaking Italian instructors from the Scuola Sci Champoluc, who we work closely with. Kids ski school is organised by us and we allocate instructors and manage class sizes.
If you have a child younger than 4, then please feel to contact the team who will be able to advise what we can offer.
Most children say this before joining our ski school, but rarely go through with it as they are having so much fun with their friends! If you are certain this is all you want to book/pay for then we would recommend them being booked into Italian Ski School.
We cannot guarantee this, but it can sometimes be arranged. Contact our team as early as possible to arrange this.
Our company specialises in tailor-made holidays for you in Champoluc, if you decide to make your own hotel arrangements then we are not able to offer our other services individually.
£150 per person secures your booking.
The final balance is due 12 weeks before departure.
Yes, we are taking bookings for 2026 and can guarantee price and rooms.
Unfortunately, the hotel charge the full room rate if not sharing with parents.
To remain competitive this is not something we offer.
Yes, we offer a reduction of £80.00 per person for clients who make their own way to resort.
The maximum size of a transfer vehicle is 8 passengers. We only share transport if clients are on the same flight, so more often than not your transfer will be private but this is not guaranteed.
Yes, we provide all car seats for transfers. Please make sure you put in the booking your requirements.

Unfortunately not, like all alpine resorts we are at the mercy of the weather, but there is significant snowmaking facilities across the 100km ski area so we are more snow assured than most! Champoluc village is at 1600m and most of the skiing is above 2000m.
There are a range of activities available in Champoluc from snowshoeing and sledging to the adventure park. If you fancy something more relaxing there is a spa in the town.
Yes. We have some lovely English-speaking staff who offer babysitting services for £20 per hour. We also offer free babysitting in Hotel Mascognaz during peak family holiday weeks, available during the hours of 6pm – 9.30pm. If you want to prebook a babysitter, we recommend arranging this as early as possible. Please contact office@ski-champoluc.com

Yes, we have a limited number though so please request when booking your holiday.
Champoluc is quite a quiet town so not the best resort if you want lively après ski. That said, there are a number of bars and music nights held throughout the week.
No, but if there is somewhere you really want to eat it can be advisable. These can be booked through our resort office.
We offer Ski Champoluc Lunch Vouchers as part of our holiday package. These can be used in a variety of mountain restaurants. We love La Mandria, Stolenberg and Bar du Soleil.
There is lots of choice in the village from pizza to fine dining. We love La Grange, Le Sapin and Il Balivo but pop in and see the resort team when you arrive and we can make recommendations and arrangements.
Yes! The nursery slopes are high in the mountains so as snow assured as the Alps can be. And once you get your snow legs travelling distance becomes easy by taking the bus to Frachey where there are lots of easy blues to enjoy!
Yes, all of our hotel partners can cater for any dietary requirement. Please advise us at the time of booking.
Yes a number of our hotel partners offer an earlier kids dinner including Petit Tournalin, La Rouja, Hotel Mascognaz and Campagnol.
As part of the sales enquiry process, we will recommend the best rooms for your family group. Petit Tournalin has rooms with mezzanine floors, La Rouja has junior suites, Mascognaz has prestige suites, Bellevue superior 5 bedded rooms and Le Petit Abri has apartments so plenty of options depending on your family requirements.
Yes, some hotels have interconnecting rooms for older children or if you just like separate space.
Yes, some hotels have single rooms.
